PERFORM-KUH mentors define the training environment. Approved mentors come from all participating institutions and represent kidney, benign urology, benign hematology, and related scientific areas. The program includes approximately 110 approved mentors with robust research programs, mentoring experience, and research environments sufficient to support trainee success.
PERFORM-KUH mentors participate in structured mentorship, regular trainee meetings, trainee PDP/IDP development, Mentorship Committee processes, program evaluation, and mentor development activities. Mentors with assigned TL1 trainees are expected to participate in formal mentor training or demonstrate completion of an equivalent program.
The individuals below have agreed to act as mentors for PERFORM-KUH. All are conducting research within the NIH domains of kidney, benign urology, or benign hematology.
Prospective trainees interested in utilizing a mentor not listed here might be permissible but requires Program approval. Principally, the mentor’s research must fall within one of the KUH research domains. Please contact us before moving forward with your potential mentor.
