Research in Progress (RIP) Seminars

A monthly seminar in which trainees present ongoing research to interdisciplinary peers and faculty for discussion and feedback. The Research in Progress Series gives trainees a regular forum to present ongoing research and receive feedback from interdisciplinary peers and faculty. One trainee presents per session to promote rich discussion. Trainees are encouraged to present not only results, but also current and anticipated challenges in study design, data analysis, interpretation, methods, manuscripts, and grant preparation.

Expectations

  • Attendance is mandatory for TL1 trainees.
  • Sessions are in-person by default when feasible, with hybrid options as needed.
  • Each trainee presents during the training period.
  • Mentors are strongly encouraged to attend when their trainee presents.
